Github Over HTTPS

Github defaults to using the default SSH port (22) but it can be reconfigured to use HTTPS port 443.

To test this run the following command:
ssh -T -p 443 git@ssh.github.com
The above -p 443 parameter tells SSH to connect on port 443. To test github connection over SSH the paramater is ommited.

If the above works and you want to make it default for github by creating a file at ~/.ssh/config and putting the following in the file:
Host github.com
Hostname ssh.github.com
Port 443
