Cannot load from mysql.proc. The table is probably corrupted

I was trying to update accounts in MySQL and got the following error message:

Cannot load from mysql.proc. The table is probably corrupted

A little bit scary if my data was corrupted. Turns out there is an upgrade command which checks the system tables. Run the following command and associated login credentials to fix it:
mysql_upgrade -u root -p
Where root is the user. It will prompt for the password and give an output of the tables it looked at and upgrade the tables (if any).

mysql: Cannot load from mysql.proc. The table is probably corrupted
