Installing MySQL Ubuntu

MySQL is very easy to install and the commands work for most versions of Ubuntu.

Start a terminal.

Update Ubuntu’s repository:
sudo apt-get update

Install MySQL server:
sudo apt-get install mysql-server

A prompt will appear asking for the root (admin) password as well as a confirmation.

That’s it!
